I apologize for the lack of content this month still! I had a bit of a family emergency and it took up quite a bit of my time. Between my contracts and keeping up with my word counts for NaNoWriMo, I’ve been a bit short on time. Next week, since we’ll officially be halfway through the challenge, I’ll have some tips for managing writer’s block in the two-week slump that everyone goes through. For me, it was Monday, and I missed my word count for the day. It happens, and I’ve since caught up, but I’m proof that sometimes plans fall through.
My current word count for NaNoWriMo, as of today, is 20,735 words. I’m back on track for hitting 50k by the end of the month, and I hope you all are still writing away as well! Keep your hopes up, and if you miss a day like I did, just start over with the next day. All writing is still writing. We can do this!
Once again, here is my NaNoWriMo profile if you want to add me as a writing buddy. Is anyone else experiencing the two-week slump? What kinds of projects are you working on? Let me know in the comments!
